He received an A.A. degree from Staten Island Community
College and a B. A. degree from Williams College (MA). He
continued his formal education at Emory University with studies
toward the Doctor of Ministry degree. He was ordained as a
Baptist minister at Friendship Baptist Church in1978, and
ordained as an elder in the United Methodist Church in 1986. He
has pastored in the South Georgia Conference of the Methodist
Church. With his special expertise and interest in the field of
mission and education, he was honored to serve as a missionary
in Haiti, Ghana. Ethiopia, and several other countries. |

She serves as liturgist, Bible study facilitator, workshop
leader, preacher and Sunday School teacher of adult classes. She
holds a bachelor of science degree in business education, a
master of divinity degree in pastoral care and counseling and a
doctor of ministry degree with a specialty in pastoral care and
counseling/pastoral psychotherapy. |

His duties focus on the spiritual growth and development of
Friendship’s children and youth with emphasis on worship, Bible
study and outreach. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in
business administration with a concentration in accounting from
Morehouse College. Currently, he is pursuing a master of
divinity degree from Columbia Seminary. |

Appointed in 2000, she assists the pastor and the Friendship
community by giving spiritual guidance through pastoral care,
counseling small groups, and leading Bible study. She earned a
bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bernard Baruch
College of the City University of New York. She completed a
master of divinity degree from New Brunswick Theological
Seminary. She also has certificates in pastoral care and
counseling and chaplaincy. She received her certificate of
ordination at Friendship in June 2004. |

Dr. Washington was licensed to preach in 1985 and was
ordained at Friendship in 2006. He serves as Associate Minister
for Church Administration, assists the superintendent of the
Sunday School and performs all such duties and responsibilities
as are assigned by the pastor and the superintendent. His
undergraduate degrees are in political science and public
administration, and his Ph.D., in public administration. |
